Missed walk-ins can happen for a number of reasons.

Please verify that Shopkick has all the permissions it needs to detect you and function properly. Please note that these permissions include camera, location, bluetooth, and microphone (microphone required on iOS for Shopkick versions 5.3.11 and below and on Android for all versions).

If you've double checked to make sure our app has all the permissions it needs, and you've also verified that your wi-fi or phone data connection is solid and working, please try uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

Sometimes missed walk-ins are due to connection issues within the building you're walking into. In particular, retailers like Costco, Target, and Walmart tend to set up shop in large, concrete buildings which can tamper with a mobile device's connection. If you connect to their guest wi-fi, please be sure you're accepting their terms through your browser, otherwise you will simply appear to be connected, but you will be unable to use that connection.
